Jaddan Bruhn

Army of Me is a series of anaglyph 3D nude portraits depicting Greek mythological gods by queer visual artist Jaddan Bruhn. Confronted with images of generically golden-masked subjects individually juxtaposed with diverse Australian landscapes, from Bondi to Broken Hill, the artist invites the viewer to explore issues of male beauty, masculinity, identity and the impact of recognition heuristics.
