Feast Festival

An evening of First Nations poetry, song, comedy, storytelling and spoken word performance. Write Blak is your chance to sit with a group of talented, passionate individuals as they share their stories and experiences of family, culture, identity, love, activism, coming out, racism and beyond.

Natalie Harkin is a renowned activist-poet, Keenan Smith is from the far west coast of SA and a award winning poet, Raymond Zada is a Telstra Award winning artist and writer. Violet Buckskin is both a visual artists and writer. Raymond and Violets writing is featured in Colouring The Rainbow Blak Queer and Trans Perspectives. The late Kim Wanganeen’s writings will be read by Rob Gerrie

Charlotte Coulthard Dare -Adnyamathanha, Bungala and Yankunytjatjara woman and transgender activist Charlotte Coulthard-Dare;

Dominic Guerrera is Ngarrindjeri, Kaurna and Italian, and has worked 15 years in Aboriginal health, particularly Aboriginal sexual health. He is the co-host of the ASH Podcast, co-creator and facilitator of SXC Times and is a writer and poet.
