Feast Festival COVID-19 Update

Dear queer artists and community members, valued sponsors, creative partners, volunteers and funding bodies.

As you are all very aware the COVID –19 Pandemic is wreaking havoc in the arts industry.

Many of us are finding creative ways to connect, including sharing our arts via a variety of on-line platforms. Funding bodies are providing additional money to companies, and additional grants aimed at artists. While all this is good, many of us are doing it tough. So many festivals, shows, events, conferences, works in progress, workshops and get togethers cancelled. So many cancelled tours and contracts, venues closed; so many people across the industry hurting and out of work.

At this point in time, our Festival will proceed as planned in November 2020. Feast is remaining up to date with all the latest communications from the Australian and South Australian Governments and if there are any changes to this, you will be notified as early as possible.

We are currently working on ways that make it easier for artists and event organisers to participate in the Festival. Developing these ideas means our Artist and Event Registrations will open in mid-April and will contain all the information and support you require to participate in 2020.
